Diving into the Archive: Revealing Two Years of Unpublished Underwater Gems

Welcome to our special showcase on the underwater ROV website. Here, we plunge into our archives to present a collection of unseen images captured by our ROV during various dives over the last two years.

These photographs are snapshots from some of our most memorable explorations. Though they were not featured in our initial showcases, each image holds their own unique charm and story, deserving a spotlight of their own.

From the discovery of ghost fishing gear off the coast of British Columbia to navigating through a mysterious green haze in a freshwater lake, every picture is a testament to the beauty and myserty of what lies below the surface.

In this image we greeted a dungeness crab as we navigated the rov throgh a thich pactch of eelgrass off of Sturgeon Bank, British Columbia. To be honest, the crab was so well camoflaugesd that we didnt see it until we reviewed the footage post dive. Defintely needed out prop guards fro this dive.

In this image I was greeted by two firey Dungeness crabs, hisy outside of the eelgrass beds shown in the image above.

I came across some ghost gear when diving along roberts bank. This trap appeared quite old and had a crab inside, despite the mesh startin gto deteriorate.

Diving through some thick green ooze in one of the Lakes just outside of Vanocuver :) Not really, was just some very interesting lighting mixed with some oversaturation of the camera lens.
